We’re chuffed to announce that we won bronze for our work with long-standing client Harry Fairclough Construction in the ‘alignment of internal comms with external messaging’ category at the inaugural Internal Communications & Engagement Awards 2019 in London last night. This our first national award and second time we’ve been recognised for our specialist internal communications work as founders of the Internal Comms Network North.

The category winner was national energy provider SSE and we were up against other big brands so this is a huge achievement for us as a Yorkshire-based agency working with a Northern SME.

It’s also great to be recognised for our approach to strategic internal communications for high growth, mid-sized organisations, which is fully integrated with external marketing and brand communications for total organisational transformation.

Our award entry detailed how by laying the foundations with a strong internal communications strategy and building a communications culture at Harry Fairclough Construction, we’ve helped the company realise its growth plans by both improving organisational performance internally and significantly increasing customer and stakeholder engagement externally. We’ve built a workforce of storytellers who proactively share content that allows us to keep both internal and external audiences updated on the exciting work that is going on from a new starter in the Civil Engineering team, to a new project building a lion’s den at a zoo!
