At Engage Comms, we work with high growth clients in sectors like construction, manufacturing, education, and financial services, to help them get to the next level by harnessing the power of internal communications for business transformation and improved organisational performance. Internal comms is usually something that isn’t formalised within SMEs and is either an ‘add-on’ to marketing/HR or sits with the Ops Director as part of the day-to-day running of the business. We want to bring together and support those who are responsible for internal comms in their organisations to share best practice and discover how to make it an integral part of their business growth strategies.
So, in May 2019, we launched the Internal Comms Network North with our first event on ‘aligning your internal and external brand communications’. The event was attended by almost 50 senior professionals including Heads of Marketing/HR/Comms, internal comms specialists, and Ops/Managing Directors from a range of sectors including legal, housing and transport. Attendee feedback was excellent and there is a definite appetite for future events which we plan to hold quarterly. There will also be other member benefits including useful email insights/updates, exclusive resources, and a LinkedIn group to discuss issues and ideas with fellow members.
In September 2019, Clarion Solicitors hosted our second event, which featured a stellar line-up of panellists discussing ‘breaking through the growth ceiling’.
