After winning two silvers in 2013 and gold for Best Use of Digital in 2014, we had a year off entering the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Yorkshire & Lincolnshire PRide Awards in 2015 but we’re back for 2016 and have been shortlisted in both the Community Relations and Integrated Campaign categories for our work with Harry Fairclough Construction/Harrogate Borough Council and Richard Grafton.
The CIPR PRide Awards are the most credible UK-wide awards in the communications industry. They recognise and celebrate outstanding campaigns, professionals and teams across nine UK nations and regions. There were around 950 entries from across the UK, around 300 of which were shortlisted, and we’re up against some tough competition from the likes of Yorkshire Water, so this in itself is a big achievement.
Our entry into the Community Relations category is for our work with long-standing client Harry Fairclough Construction on the build of Harrogate Borough Council’s new civic HQ. We are acting as an extension of the on-site team to keep the local community engaged via a useful blog, letter drops, social media, events and an education/work experience programme. We’ve also been shortlisted for the work we’ve done to build the profile of Yorkshire’s premier interior architecture and design house, Richard Grafton, via an integrated campaign which includes the hugely successful #yorkshirepropertyoftheweek.
We can’t wait for the awards ceremony in November where we’ll celebrating our achievements as a team that has ambitious growth plans for the future! Well done and good luck to all our fellow shortlist-ees!
