Engage Comms’ directors Jo Parker and Helen Gill (nee Standing) are the authors of ebook ‘Power Your Personal Brand for 2013‘, which is still available to buy on Amazon in Kindle format.
Richard Bailey, then senior lecturer in Public Relations at Leeds Beckett University which added the ebook to its core reading list for first year PR students, said:
“This book by two engaging consultants applies public relations lessons to individuals. Advice is interspersed with case studies of prominent Yorkshire figures who exemplify these principles. The authors are young and they have lots of advice to offer, including this to social media sceptics: ‘The fuddy duddies who vilify young people for sharing every intimate detail of their lives on Facebook are slowly starting to step aside and realise that this is the future.'”
Helen has also contributed content to several editions of leading text book ‘Exploring Public Relations: Global Strategic Communications‘ and is the solely by-lined contributor of the B2B Public Relations chapter of the 4th edition, published in April 2017.
