Jo gained 10 years' experience at a global PR agency before setting up Engage Comms in 2012 to fill a gap in the market for an agency that applied traditional communications and business principles to the digital age as part of a fully integrated marketing offer. She now provides clients in specialist sectors including construction and skills with strategic support on everything from brand development to internal comms alongside running the business and managing the team to get the best results.
Helen is a multi-award-winning marketing communications professional who worked in a variety of in-house and consultancy comms roles for SMEs and global organisations in the public and private sectors before setting up Engage Comms in 2012. She leads on strategic projects and campaigns which help clients in niche sectors such as personal debt and education achieve their long term goals. She was the by-lined editor of the B2B chapter of the 2017 edition of leading text book 'Exploring Public Relations' and believes that high quality written content is the foundation of marketing communications.
With years of experience working in integrated agencies large and small, Luke joined Engage Comms to help further our full service marketing offering and develop our strong team. Luke brings a solid traditional marketing foundation with excellent understanding and experience of digital channels, including how messaging and communications must be right for the channel/audience and vice versa. With his project management and client service skills, and outcomes-driven approach, he is an asset to the senior team. He leads on coordination of integrated projects, liaising with suppliers and partners to provide a hassle-free, quality service to clients.
Chloe had the grades to go to university but instead opted for a more vocational marketing and PR Apprenticeship. We met her at a networking event and were immediately impressed with her maturity, professionalism and work ethic. She’s now a key part of the Engage Comms team, delivering content-led campaigns. Chloe brings her love of the outdoors, dogs and food & drink to our Yorkshire lifestyle clients. She’s also our data, analytics and research pro! In 2016, she won the One4All #SpotlightAwards Employee of the Year in the Creative/Digital category.
David is a highly experienced PR, copywriter and content manager. He has worked for leading regional, national and international communications companies, while clients have ranged from micro-business to multinationals. A former journalist and broadcaster, who has also held in-house roles for the MOD and NHS, David has particular expertise in media relations, web content, crisis and issues, internal comms and copywriting. Recent years have seen him work on just about every written communications project - including scripts, film production notes and a CIPR-award winning book.
Ian is an experienced graphic designer who works with the Engage Comms team on clients' print and digital design needs.
Steve is a WordPress specialist who develops, maintains and supports outstanding websites for our clients, working with us collaboratively on the strategy, content and user experience.
Selina has more than 10 years' experience as a senior creative working with clients from start-ups to global brands (including innocent smoothies) to create bespoke assets to define and elevate businesses in all aspects of visual communication. She works with Engage Comms on the art direction for re-brands and larger creative campaigns.
