case study: Heritage Masonry

< back to who we work with

Heritage Masonry is an award winning, nationwide Yorkshire stone masonry company specialising in church restorations, large scale mansions and stately homes, weir restorations, city centre regeneration projects, new build housing and civil engineering work.

Words that do justice to the pictures

Having undertaken a number of impressive projects, Contracts Manager Craig was overseeing the design and build of a new website and printed brochure that would do justice to the company’s stunning photography of impressive projects and help them secure higher value tenders and contracts. Engage Comms was asked to edit the brochure and website content, including bank of project case studies, to tell the company’s story and give it more of a professional feel for a professional audience.

Professional socialising

Having never considered using social media to build relationships with target clients, we persuaded Craig of the opportunities platforms like Twitter and LinkedIn presented for engaging with and getting high quality case study content in front of relevant audiences. In order to enable him to incorporate strategic use of social media into his new business development role, we set up consistent, professional profiles on relevant platforms, identified, followed and made initial contact with a range of influencers and stakeholders and then delivered tailored, one-to-one training which focused on how he could maximise return on investment from the small amount of time he had available to spend on online engagement.

“Engage Comms got us up and running using social media for business development. We're now using it as a means of building relationships with architects, estimators and others who are working on projects that we want to tender for.”
