The newly launched ‘Team Talk’ podcast from Luminos Insight explores the benefits of talent research for HR and talent acquisition teams, and their wider organisations. It breaks through the jargon to uncover how a game-changing, insight-led approach to recruitment and organisational development can enable better people decisions.
In the introductory episode entitled ‘Illuminate Your Talent Strategy: The Power of Insight-Led Recruitment’, host Helen Gill, founding Director of marketing communications consultancy and podcast producer Engage Comms, asks Luminos’ Directors Natalie Douglass and Lee Parker to delve deeper into what talent research is and does for organisations.
The 20-minute conversation covers everything from the new world of work post-pandemic and how organisations can meet diversity & inclusion targets, to why they decided to set up their own talent research company to help clients including household brands, financial institutions, multi-national manufacturers and SMEs to overcome the ever-evolving people challenges they face in 2024 and beyond. It also touches on how Nat and Lee draw on their passion for football in their work to build winning teams.
Luminos Director Natalie Douglass says:
“We know that, while recruitment and retention is arguably the biggest challenge facing organisations in 2024, there’s still a lack of understanding about how talent research and insight works. With our new podcast, we wanted to dig deeper into what it’s all about and how organisations can benefit from it and why our approach which combines in-depth data with insight from real-time conversations is so effective. In the first episode, Lee and I break down some of the misconceptions including that research is costly and can’t get quick results.”
