Engage Comms won a competitive public sector tender to develop the new communications strategy for Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Business Support Service to increase the uptake of support and funding for ambitious small-medium enterprises (SMEs) in West Yorkshire.
We were awarded the contract off the back of our SME experience, contacts, and expertise and ‘quality over quantity’ approach to communications strategy development that has long-term, sustainable impact, taking into account both social and commercial aims. The target sectors for the campaign – engineering, manufacturing, healthcare, and creative – are also all areas in which we have experience of working with SMEs.
We also used our experience of supporting SME clients through the Coronavirus crisis to tailor the strategy to the post-Covid19 business environment.
The insight-based brand communications guide and comms toolkit/content that we created is now being used to shape the roll out of new marketing and engagement campaigns.
