The Leeds In Vitro Diagnostics Co-operative (NIHR Leeds MIC) supports diagnostics developers in the design and validation of new in vitro diagnostic tests.
Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and forming a partnership between the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the University of Leeds the organisation drives forward new innovations to accelerate clinical adoption.
We began working with NIHR Leeds MIC in 2021 when the organisation was about to launch its new website. Our role on this first project was to develop high quality SEO-optimised content for the new website that presented the complex and technical information about what the organisation does in a clear, simple and engaging way.
Following the launch of the website, we developed a social media optimisation plan and set up new social media channels to maximise visibility of the work of the organisation, the value it adds, and encourage collaboration with the diagnostic industry.
Our ongoing integrated comms support promoted the organisation’s key activities to key stakeholders. A key part of this was research and copywriting of in-depth case study content on the highly technical projects that the clinical team gets involved in. This showcased the valuable work the NIHR Leeds MIC team delivers in its key medical theme areas of Oncology, Renal Medicine, Musculoskeletal Disease and Infection Diagnostics.
We also supported with the design of a Guide for Researchers on Patient & Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) to bring NIHR Leeds MIC’s collateral in line with that of its other regional counterparts.
