Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust provides specialist mental health and learning disability services to the people of Leeds and across the Yorkshire and Humber region.
The communications team proactively uses social media to raise awareness of mental health issues but does so in the context of a highly emotive, sensitive and heavily regulated area of healthcare. Staff are encouraged to use social media in a professional capacity but within specific guidelines, which they asked us to help them shape and update.
“Engage Comms designed an employee social media engagement survey to help benchmark how our workforce are currently using social media on a personal and professional level. They spent time understanding our organisation and tailoring the survey to our needs and gave us valuable insights to help us develop appropriate policies and guidelines. They also advised our comms team on a personal branding strategy for employees to make them advocates of the organisation online.”
