Based in Bradford, Naylor Wintersgill is a 100 year old accountancy firm that has never stopped innovating. It was the first accountancy firm in the UK to gain ‘Putting the Customer First’ accreditation and has a very strong people-focused ethos and impressive client retention rate. Never ones to rest on their laurels, the firm has ambitious growth plans which rely on being able to reach out to new audiences via reputation and word of mouth.

A new look for a new era

Having just been through a corporate re-branding exercise, which had seen the vision of dynamic new Managing Partner Victoria Wainwright brought to life, support was needed with ensuring that this new look and feel translated into new business. Engage Comms was brought on board to help maximise the investment in the new brand by creating and embedding a social media strategy that would build long term brand value.

Carving a niche

With a limited budget and existing marketing and business development resource in-house, we recommended a series of strategy workshops with senior partners and hands-on bespoke training with key team members to ensure that the approach was collaboratively defined and ‘owned’ by the people within the business. The sessions were completely bespoke and tailored to the needs of the firm, identifying which platforms, audiences and types of content would be the most authentic to the team and have the most impact on client acquisition and retention.
