After previously winning the Best Use of Digital and Community Relations Campaign categories of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ Yorkshire & Lincolnshire PRide Awards, we’ve been shortlisted in both the Internal Communications and Best Event categories for our work with Harry Fairclough Construction and Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG) at this year’s awards.
The CIPR PRide Awards are the most credible UK-wide awards in the communications industry. They recognise and celebrate outstanding campaigns, professionals and teams across nine UK nations and regions. There were more than 1,000 entries from across the UK, only a small percentage of which were shortlisted, and we’re up against some tough competition, so getting onto the shortlist itself is a big achievement.
This follows a year of rapid growth with the appointment of new Account Manager Eleanor Cropper who was previously at Grayling and new Account Director Luke Singh who has 10 years’ experience in marketing agency project management, plus new additions to our network of associates and partners who enable us to offer a fully integrated marketing service. The last few years has seen us move from working with predominantly SMEs to securing contracts with national organisations in the education/skills and financial services sectors. We have also recently moved into larger premises within the Wharfebank Mills Business Centre in Otley on the outskirts of Leeds.
Our entry into the Internal Communications category is for our work with long-standing client Harry Fairclough Construction which has seen us help them bring their multi-site operation together and reinvigorate the traditional family values of the company to enable them to attract and retain the best talent to aid their growth. In the Best Event category, we’re showcasing our work with the Money Advice Liaison Group on its 30th anniversary conference in 2017, which we re-branded, re-structured and re-launched to make it the most successful yet.
We can’t wait for the awards ceremony in November where we’ll celebrating our achievements as a team that has ambitious plans for the future! Well done and good luck to all our fellow shortlist-ees!
