We are pleased to announce that Engage Comms, alongside our long-standing clients Harrogate Steel and Allied Glazing Systems, are Finalists in this year’s Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs).
This is the first time we have entered the CMAs, despite working within the construction sector for the past nine years, so to be shortlisted in two categories; Best Branding & Positioning Campaign and Best Use of Content Marketing, during what has been a particularly challenging year for us, our clients and the wider industry, is an achievement in itself.
Jo Parker, co-Founding Director of Engage Comms Ltd, said: “Both campaigns that we are shortlisted for delivered tangible business results for our construction clients, and demonstrate how a long-term, strategic approach to sustainable, organic growth in a sector that has traditionally been more sales-led, can be highly effective.”
Richard Searle, Commercial Director at Harrogate Steel, said: “Our aim was to grow from £1million turnover in 2019 to £2million which we will achieve this year. Last year our highest value orders were no more than £50k and now we regularly are taking orders for £300k which we attribute directly to the content marketing campaign initiated by Engage Comms in 2019.”
Phil Goy, Director, Allied Glazing Systems: “As a result of working with Engage Comms we had more orders in the first three months of the roll out of the campaign than we had in the whole of the previous year, a tangible substantive and immediate impact of the rebrand and related marketing activity and an endorsement of the time and effort invested in audience insight. We emphasise that our only means of getting in front of new clients and communicating/’staying front of mind’ with existing contacts is via our rebranding initiatives”.
The winners will be announced at an online presentation on 26 November 2020.
