Debt Awareness Week 2021: How we’ve helped with the roll out of the new Debt Adviser Apprenticeship

Debt Awareness Week is always a busy one for us as specialists in the sector with clients including the Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG), Credit Services Association (CSA), and Registry Trust Ltd. We’ve helped them all make the most of the opportunity to raise awareness around debt issues this week from supporting MALG’s successful ‘Virtual Connect’ event, to helping to create and disseminate thought leadership content such as this blog on taking the fear out of CCJ debts.

However, we’re also very pleased to announce that we’ve also helped to enable the roll out of the much-needed new Debt Adviser Apprenticeship standard by bringing together two of our clients; CSA as the training provider and NOCN Group as the End Point Assessment Organisation. We’re passionate about both debt and vocational education/skills through our work in these sectors so to combine the two is perfect for us!

Here is a piece we worked with CSA on back in February to highlight the urgent need for this new apprenticeship to increase the capacity and quality of debt advice in challenging economic times: https://www.csa-uk.com/news/549995/CSA-highlights-urgent-need-to-roll-out-Debt-Advice-Apprenticeship-in-2021.htm and here is this week’s announcement from NOCN Group that the two not-for-profits with shared values will be joining forces on it: https://www.nocn.org.uk/news/nocn-becomes-first-end-point-assessment-organisation-for-new-debt-adviser-apprenticeship.asp.

We’re incredibly proud of the work we do with a range of not-for-profit clients and the social value/impact it has. Get in touch with us to find out how we could help your organisation make a difference through strategic comms and stakeholder engagement.
